Life without a help mate
June 21st, 2008 by admin
Well there comes a time in everybody’s life when change is inevitable,
and you have to either accept it and keep on keepin on. Or, be bitter,
angry and mean, and be no good to all those around you.
Thus the time for change had come for me and my kids.
My wife of 20 years is leaving me and our three kids.
Yes the D word…
…divorce
So I’m in charge of being the daddy AND mommy.
Hopefully I’ll be able to be a better mommy than I was at being a husband!
I know this doesn’t go with the theme of my site, but this is real, this is me.
And I needed to get it off my chest. I know there’s resources out there to help
a single parent, which I will be looking into soon.
While it’s too late for me, I thought I might post a resource that might
help someone to get things right, before it’s too late!
It looks like something I could of used years ago.
Simple things, like asking your mate questions…
This book gives you 1000 Questions For Couples. Sometimes it’s the simple things
that can make a big difference in a marriage.
No matter what you think, you may be wrong, and you need to ask your partner,
what they think. Find out for sure. Cause you really don’t know if you don’t ask.
While a devastating situation to go through. With the help of God, friends and family,
I will make it through this.
